Your Personal "College Funding Strategies" Selector

1. We are going to use some infomation from your 1040 tax return that will help us suggest strategies that would work for you to reduce the cost of college. You will need your most recent IRS 1040 tax return to continue.

2. With your most recent tax return in front of you, click the start button below. You will see a blank 1040 tax form appear on the screen.
The idea here is to take some information from your 1040 form and put it on the 1040 form on the screen. For every line on your completed 1040 tax return that has a number entered on it, you are going to check a box on the corresponding line on the 1040 form on the screen. Note: You do not enter any numbers- just put a check the box.
Example:
If your IRS 1040 form has a number entered in the box on Line 7 ... then put a check mark in the box for Line 7 on the screen 1040 form. Continue doing the same for each line on your 1040 that has an entry. You do not enter any numbers- just check the boxes.

3. Once you've reached the end of the 1040 form on the screen... you will see a section that allows you to select the various types of strategies. (Cash Flow, Retirement, Tax Reduction, Investment, and Financial Aid). Check the boxes of the strategies you want to view.

4. Click on View Printable Strategy Report
|
|
5. The resulting list of represents strategies that can help you reduce the cost of college based on your financial profile.
